Deep fried ricotta cheese

INGREDIENTS (for 4 people):

  • 250 g ricotta, dried
  • flour
  • 1 egg
  • 1 pinch of salt
  • extravirgin olive oil

Be sure to drain well the ricotta before starting. Cut the ricotta in slices about 1 cm thick, then cover with flour and dip in whashed egg with salt.

Put the oil in a pan and make it hot, then fry the ricotta slices. Turn them until well goldened. Absorb eccess oil and serve still hot
